Using the Keyword Search
Facility
To help you find the fonts you need, FontAgent Pro’s Keyword Search facility finds fonts that match keywords describing their appearance, category, usage and other attributes. For example, you can enter terms such as Western or Italian Restaurant, and FontAgent Pro displays a list of fonts that match those keywords. ![]() Searching for Fonts by Keyword To search for a font by keyword, follow these steps: 1 Click Find in the Toolbar 2 Click Keyword Search in the Find window 3 From the magnifying glass pop up, select Find Matching Fonts or Find Related Information 4 Enter search text 5 Select Search Keyword Search returns a list of fonts that match your text entry. To see a preview of what the fonts look like, click the Show Samples checkbox. To change the size of the sample view, click the up- or down-arrow. Find Fonts Locally and on the Internet The Keyword Search facility not only finds fonts in the FontAgent Pro library located on your computer, it also finds fonts on the Internet that match the keywords you specify. When you search by keyword, FontAgent Pro first displays fonts matching your text string that reside on your computer. You can activate and deactivate these fonts by clicking on the activation sphere appearing to the left of their names. After the list of local fonts that match your search criteria, Keyword Search displays a list of matching fonts it finds on the Internet. To learn more about these fonts, double-click a font name on FontAgent Pro launches an internet browser window displaying a web page with additional information about the font and how to purchase it. Exiting the Keyword Search Facility To exit the Keyword Search facility and return to FontAgent Pro, click the Back to Font Agent Pro button located in the lower-left of your screen. |
