I classified my fonts and uploaded them to the server. Now when users synchronize, the classification information is missing. What's up with that? |

The font classification is taken from the profile
information which is stored locally and outside the database. Once a library
is uploaded to the server, only the database information follows it, and none of the profile information goes along. Once a library is uploaded to the server, it becomes a server library. Once it is downloaded, the profiler will classify the fonts once again. If a font does not have a classification, you can classify the fonts in that library in FontAgent Pro, but that profile information remains local.
This is done because some fonts have a lot of profile information, and if it were included in the database, the database would become unwieldy and severely slow performance of the software. |
