What options can I set when importing fonts in to FontAgnent Pro? |
When you import
fonts into FontAgent Pro 4 for Mac OS X, the Import sheet appears. By checking the various options you can specify how you want to optimize and organize your fonts.
Check font metrics to determine exact duplicates Compares fonts’ internal data, including kerning tables, to determine duplicates. If you check this option, FontAgent Pro treats only fonts that are exactly the same as duplicates, potentially importing fonts with the same name. Do not import incomplete PostScript fonts Imports only font families that include all their required PostScript and bitmapped fonts. Activate fonts after importing them Automatically activates imported fonts. Show report after importing Displays a report detailing good fonts that were imported and damaged, duplicate and unmatched fonts that were Problem Fonts . Profile fonts after importing Automatically calculates metrics and descriptive data for imported fonts and stores them in your font database. Delete original fonts after importing Removes your existing font files from your hard drive after creating your new, organized font library . To ensure the safety of your font collection, if you check this option, FontAgent Pro asks you to confirm that you have copies of your font files. Destination Library Designates the library name into which to import fonts or create a new library. |
