I get the spinning beach ball whenever I launch FontAgent Pro or whenever I try to access the Tools menu. What can I do?
When launching FontAgent Pro or when accessing the Tools Menu, FontAgent Pro uses network reachability APIs to determine whether or not the check for Updates can be performed.

These APIs do not actually do any network communication and are non-blocking, but there are cases where a zombie router or blackhole  firewall can cause them to spin.

A workaround for this would be to turn off the  “Automatically Check for FontAgent Pro Updates” preference is turned off.
