Does FontAgent Pro 4 support Adobe Creative Suite (CS 5) applications?

Auto-activation plug-ins for Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS5 for Macintosh are included in FontAgent Pro 4.140 (and later) and the installer is available for download at the link below:

Auto-activation plug-ins for Creative Suite 5 applications on Windows are also available in the 4.1 release.

Installation

Download and run the FontAgent Pro installer from the above link.

After installing, Launch Font Agent Pro. Select FontAgent Pro>Install Plug-ins/Xtensions... from the menu bar. Select the applications you wish to update (selecting them all is recommended) in the Setup Assistant window and click Finish.

To manually install the FontAgent Pro CS5 auto-activation plug-ins on the Macintosh please follow the instructions below.

Adobe InDesign CS5
Close out of Adobe InDesign CS5 (if launched) then copy the FontAgent Pro.InDesignPlugin file to the /Applications/Adobe InDesign CS 5/Plug-Ins/ folder.

Adobe Illustrator CS5
Close out of Adobe Illustrator CS5 (if launched) then copy the FontAgent Pro.aip file to the /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS5/Plug-ins/ folder.

Adobe Photoshop CS5
Close out of Adobe Photoshop CS5 (if launched) then copy the FontAgent Pro.plugin and the FontAgent Pro Helper.plugin file to the /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5/Plug-ins/ folder.


IMPORTANT: If you are using FontAgent Pro version 4.120 or earlier, you will need to upgrade to version 4.140 or later to get the added functionality of the CS 5 plug-ins. The update from earlier versions of FontAgent Pro 4 is free to those who currently own a license of FontAgent Pro 4.

The upgrade to version 4 from FontAgent Pro 3.3.2 and earlier is a paid upgrade.
