FontAgent Pro Server System Requirements

Minimum Server Hardware and Software
The minimum requirements for the computer running FontAgent Pro Server software include:
•    G4 processor running Mac OS 10.4.11 or higher
•    2 GB of Ram and 80 GB of disk space
•    10 Base-T Ethernet or AirPort network connection
•    Static IP address or qualified domain
•    Installed FontAgent Pro Server software
•    Licenses to match the number of connected FontAgent Pro clients you have, unless you are installing a trial version of FontAgent Pro Server

Suggested Server Hardware
•    Dual G4 processor or better running Mac OS 10.4 or higher
•    8 GB of Ram and 80 GB of disk space
•    100 Base-T Ethernet (or better) or AirPort (802.11 g) network connection

Minimum Client Hardware and Software
The minimum requirements for client computers running FontAgent Pro software that accesses FontAgent Pro Server include:
•    G3 processor running Mac OS 10.4.11 or higher
•    10 Base-T Ethernet or AirPort network connection
•    Ability to reach the FontAgent Pro Server’s static IP address or qualified domain
•    Installed FontAgent Pro 4 or higher with the Client for FontAgent Pro

•    1GB of Ram and 80 GB of disk space
•    100 Base-T Ethernet (or better) or AirPort (802.11 g) network connection

Networking Requirements
FontAgent Pro Server uses port 6996 by default, this setting that can be changed. For assistance in this process contact support@insidersoftware.com

Additional software that may be useful
•    Apple Remote Desktop for installing server and connected-client software over the network
•    Smasher from Insider Software to address font cache issues

Intel Compatibility
FontAgent Pro 4.0, and FontAgent Pro Server 4.0 are Universal applications made to run on both Intel and PowerPC-based Macintosh computers.
