I want to move the location of my FontAgent Pro database and fonts to a different location on my Windows PC. How can I do this?

To move the location of your FontAgent Pro for Windows fonts and database, follow the steps below:

First close out of FontAgent Pro.

Then move the FontAgent Pro Data folder to the new preferred location.

Then launch FontAgent Pro.

If you move the folder to one of the default installation locations for the database, FontAgent Pro will auto-detect the database and FontAgent Pro will appear as it did before.

If this is not the case, you will be presented with a dialog with the following message:

Locate FontAgent Pro Data Folder
FontAgent Pro cannot find it's associated data folder. Please choose a new location and create a new folder.

When you encounter this, select Browse and navigate the the new location of the FontAgent Pro Data Folder.

Select the FontAgent Pro Data Folder, and click OK at the bottom of the Browse for Folder dialog window.

Then in the Locate FontAgent Pro Data Folder window the new location should appear in the text box. Select Open FontAgent Pro Data Folder.

FontAgent Pro will launch and appear as it did when the database and fonts were stored at the previous location.
