The noises with Smasher were cute the first hundred times I heard them. How do I turn them off? |

Smasher includes a number of audible cues that play as the program runs.
The first sound is the smashing sound you hear when you click the Smash toolbar button or drag a font out of the Suitcases, Fonts and Styles pane. Smasher plays a second sound when you clear Mac OS X font caches and application font caches. Another sound effect is in the About Smasher dialog sheet. When you display it, you hear the Smasher theme, the Anvil Chorus from Giuseppe Verdi's Il Trovatore, in which gypsies sing the praises of hard work. If you would prefer a bit more quiet while you work, there is an option in the Smasher preferences to mute the sounds. |
