How can I schedule cache clearing with Smasher 1? |

To schedule regular, scheduled cleaning of font, preference and file caches using Smasher, follow these steps:
1 Select Schedule Cache Smash under the Tools Menu (Command+Shift+K) 2 Click any or all of the application options in the Schedule Cache Smash options sheet. 3 Select any of the radio buttons next to the scheduling option you prefer. Smasher allows to you clean caches at every logout, every day, every number of days you select (up to six days), once a week, once a month, or on each logout after a specified time. 4 Click the Post a notification when cache clearing has been enabled to see a confirmation alert that scheduled cache cleaning has been set . 5 To clear font caches immediately from the Schedule Cache Smashing sheet, select the system or application caches you wish to clear, then click the Clear Font Caches Now and Restart button. |
