What kind of things can happen with Microsoft Office font caches?
Microsoft Office applications create files that cache fonts, build font substitution tables and store font settings. When you activate, deactivate and install fonts, these files can fall out of sync with reality, causing you to see false font corruption warnings, font menu problems, crashes, hangs and extreme application sluggishness.
