Can I add fonts to Smasher by drag and drop? |
To drag fonts into the Smasher application window, follow these steps:
1 Navigate to a font file or a folder using Finder. 2 Drag the files or folder into the Suitcases, Fonts and Styles pane in Smasher. ![]() 3 You see an Importing status bar sheet showing the progress of your import . 4 When the import is done all valid Type 1 and Mac TrueType suitcases will be in the Suitcases, Fonts and Styles pane in Smasher. Smasher imports fonts found in subfolders of any folder you drag into the Smasher window to import or add fonts. Note: Smasher searches a Type 1 font file’s current folder for its associated printer fonts. Therefore, if you store your printer files and Type 1 suitcases (or Multiple Master font suitcases) in separate folders, you need to move them into the same folder for Smasher to recognize that these are valid font suitcase files. Note: This version of Smasher supports Mac TrueType, dfonts, Type 1, and Multiple Master fonts. Smasher currently ignores OpenType and Windows TrueType fonts. |
