Do Mac applications ever use their own special fonts? |
|
|
Some Macintosh applications—including Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office apps—install their own fonts as a normal
part of their installation and operation. Sometimes applications install the fonts in a subfolder of the /Library
/Application Support folder, while in other cases, the applications install their required fonts
in a Fonts subfolder inside the application’s main folder.
Moving these application fonts can adversely affect the performance and stability of these applications, so you should leave them where they reside. |
