How does Smasher break up old Mac OS 9 suitcases?
Smasher gives you a single, simple interface for viewing and simplifying font suitcases in Mac OS X, just like you could in previous versions of Mac OS. It allows you to create suitcases that contain a single font or even individual font styles. This provides precise control over which fonts are activated by your font manager. Smasher also preserves font integrity and keeps PostScript font files with their corresponding suitcases. When you smash a suitcase , Smasher creates simpler suitcases and checks their integrity so you can be assured they will work with your Mac OS X and pre-OS X documents.
